Keep the Client. Keep Your Compliance. Answer the Real Estate Question.
When an accredited client asks about a private real estate deal, "I don't cover that" just takes you out of the decision. L5 Legacy Capital, a veteran-led sponsor in Frisco, Texas, investing in Texas and Louisiana, gives financial advisors client education, a sponsor checklist and direct access to our founders. We never ask you to solicit or recommend. We pay no referral fees.
A short call with Byron Kizzie, our Managing Partner. No referral fees. No client information needed.
What happens when clients chase private deals without you?
The money leaves your view. Your accredited clients hear about real estate syndications everywhere, and some will invest with or without you. The position never shows up in your reporting, the risk sits in a plan you're accountable for, and the next review starts with a surprise.
Saying no doesn't stop the check. A client who asks you first, and a sponsor who gives you what you need to help them think it through, does.
How does L5 work within your compliance obligations?
By keeping you out of any selling role. Your biggest risk with a private sponsor isn't the deal. It's being pulled into a role your firm won't let you hold.
No solicitation
We never ask you to recommend or sell anything. We educate. You advise.
No compensation of any kind
No referral fees, finder's fees, revenue sharing or transaction-based compensation, in either direction. Nothing to disclose, nothing to unwind.
Materials your firm can review
Our client handouts are educational. If your firm reviews third-party materials, we'll provide them in advance.
Accredited-investor verification
Under Rule 506(c), an SEC-registered investment adviser can confirm in writing that they've verified a client's accredited status within the prior three months. We provide the format we accept. Always your decision.
How do you know L5 is a sponsor worth standing near?
- Skin in the game: The founders' money goes in first. "Whenever you invest with us, we'll treat your money just like our money," says Byron Kizzie, our Managing Partner.
- Investors paid first: Limited partners receive a preferred return and are paid before general partners share in profits.
- Selectivity across a full cycle: About 100 deals reviewed to choose two to five. Byron is a 20-year Army veteran with 15-plus years in real estate development.
- Transparency you can monitor: We publish every project placed in the L5 fund, with quarterly updates via InvestNext.
- Realized result: Northeast Louisiana workforce housing delivered a 1.5x equity multiple in under 15 months on a $2.25M project.
